I'm too tired to think up any lyrics

Mostly because I spent today painting the back wall and most of the left wall in the picture below.

And a good job I did, considering that I went to the White Stripes concert last night. It was at the Greek Theater on the UC Berkeley campus. It's a beautiful place, designed by Julia Morgan, that is situated almost exactly on the Hayward fault (which is expected to have a major shift in the next 30 years, if predictions are to be believed...welcome to California).

But we didn't need an earthquake last night to rock the house. Well, actually, up where I was sitting, the earthquake might have helped because most people just sat there. I was up out of my seat dancing, of course. They did a fabulous job and it is amazing what noise 2 people, and a damn good sound system, can make. I think I might like to marry Meg White now (if I got her name wrong...tough, I'm too tired to get up to verify).

This morning I moved out of Hill House and back to Spins' Crib (no, that's not going to work...I'll keep trying). So there will be no more playing catch with Shadow the wonder dog....

This is sad, not only because Shadow is the most amazing dog, and wonderfully therapeutic, but also because this is the view where she and I would play fetch:

So now I'm going to take a bath...and probably fall asleep reading a trashy novel.

Oh yeah, and if anyone is interested in my poetry go here. No disclaimers. No explanations. Feedback is always welcome, but it may not change the poem.

Excellent poetry!

I think I like "Proofing" best.

Glad the stripes rocked your world!
Can we share Meg?

Flash - intriguing offer. I think we'd have to ask Meg.
