"I don't know what stressed me first or how the pressure was fed"

Head over to Charby's place to wish her some congratulations on hitting 5000! She's still sorting the winner...

This week has been a bit stressful. I spent most of the time at work this week feeling a bit nauseous. And yesterday, I felt rushed and off-center all day. I just felt like I was on this awful rollercoaster that I want to find a way off.

It would be nice to think about moving to another job, but starting my business feels a little bit like having a new child. I need my current job to still support this thing that I really love...because it can't support itself quite yet.

I'm trying to be very zen...trying to remember that these times of turmoil and chaos come and go. And my feelings about my job vary from complete frustration and clausterphobia to contentment and relishing the routine. I want my routine back.

On an up note about work...it's payday. I'm going to celebrate this weekend a bit by going wild at a thrift shop because in my stress all I've wanted to do is shop.

I hear you Spin, I'm in the same boat about work business and feeling off kilter. Sending you good, relax vibes and, having just spent an obscene amount of money at the Halloween super store near work the other day, I know for a fact that retail therapy is where it's at! :)
luv,

I want to spend money like mad! I'm accomplishing this tomorrow by buying apples and pumpkins (and apple cider doughnuts). I figure at least I can eat my spoils right away...

It's been a really weird work week as you noted at my place yesterday... This too shall pass...
