"You know you got it if it makes you feel good"

I wrote a post, posted it, then came back and deleted it. It was...it just feels like all my posts are devolving into some sort of internal drama. I don't like that. I do like the feedback I get for it, but that's not what I want to do all the time (sometimes, yes, but always).

I will say this about the last post - it's ironic that the thing that annoys many of you about having a partner is hogging the bed or the covers...and in my little ramblings yesterday, my fantasy was to have someone in bed with me. I guess it's a little case of be careful what you wish for, eh?

Anyway, I thought I'd share another pretty picture. This is actually a painting by my mother that hangs in the hall.

Yes, I know it looks a bit like the horizon is on fire and there are some problems with perspective, etc., but I love the colors and I love how she does trees.

It looks like a sunset to me, but that is the great thing about art.

I like it.

And remember, its your blog. We visit because we like you, even if you are whining about how much life sucks. We may be long disance friends, but friends support eachother. So drama away. Its your right.

I am sending you positive energy. (we say it in the midwest too;)

I love that picture! Painting talent obviously runs in the family :)

Write the drama or don't write it - depends on how you feel.

I'm struck by your family's collective sense of colour. I assume the painting and your blog template were made/chosen quite independently...

This is a lovely painting, spin!

I agree with the others; you should write about whatever you want. You're so very supportive of the rest of us, I'm sure we don't mind returning the favor. It's what friends do.

As for my husband's oddities regarding the covers, it should be said that I hit and kick in my sleep. I think he gets the worst end of the deal. Fortunately for him, he's a sound sleeper and sleeps through the nightly beatings. I don't know if that makes him lucky, or unlucky...?
