So I caved and called him on Friday night. Really not a bad thing, I think, since it was a casual "my schedule is getting crazy...call me if you want to get together" kind of message I left. And he called back. And we have a second date tonight. Also had a nice phone conversation with another guy last night. I'm a little worried that he's a bit more into baseball than I am (I find this sport to be just a little more exciting than golf). Anyway, it was still a nice conversation, and we will probably try to meet for coffee after the Memorial Day weekend.
O! And I saw Revenge of the Sith yesterday. It was a lovely movie. I wish that they had not been quite so obvious/melodramatic with Anakin's flirting with the darkside. I think a subtler approach would have been more effective, but they would have had to give more time to that, and then it wouldn't have been a LucasFilm.
I heard rumors that Lucas will not make the last 3, but what do you want to bet that someone will buy the rights...especially given this weekend's box office numbers.

I can't bring myself to see Star Wars all because of that horrible line in the teaser where Padme cries out "ANAKIN, you're BREAKING my HEART!" Nathalie Portman may be cute as a button, but she's sure not a great actor.

I thought that the whole "moving to the dark side" thing was going quite well until the point where Anakin basically goes "oh, go on then then, if you insist" and turns evil instantaneously.
shall we get together and make episodes 7,8 and 9? I think we could do a job....
Yes, let's make the sequels...of course, I have no money. Do you think that matters?
