"Storyteller tell me a story from back in the day"

This is all going to be fairly random tonight...

I went to the art opening. It was at a bar called Geo Kayes here in Oakland. I guess, according to one guest, that Green Day used to hang out here. It really was pretty small. But it's draw is that its a "renegade smoking bar." You see, here in California, there's a law against smoking in public places, however Geo Kaye gets around this because he is the sole proprietor and sole employee...so I guess it's not so "renegade" if he's just following the letter of the law. Anyway, I came away from there wanting 1) to buy a $300 piece of art and 2) wanting to smoke.

An interesting session with my therapist. It's fascinating to me. I hate him and love him. He's a really good therapist and I envy his skill. But when I sit with him, I wish that he would let things slip by.

This is probably the longest meme I've seen so far. I stole it from
Fear & Loafing in England once known as Retro-Boy.

There are two people called Janis in there, Spin. But your other answers were interesting too... I particularly like your answer to "what turns you on?". Oddly, this is the third reference to people speaking or wanting to speak spanish I've seen among my blogmates this week. Must be something in the cyberair.

For me, living and working as a social worker in California, Spanish is a must. My pidgen spanish sucks! My poor Spanish-speaking clients just look at me blankly sometimes.

Mystic...I believe you may have just offered to help me with my Spanish, yes?

That's lovely. Perhaps, after NaNoWriMo, I can dig out the old testbook I have, and start sending you silly e-mails about how I am dancing on the beach, etc.

I've found that when I hit the studying, memorize some words, etc. that it really helps to have help like that. Oh, and I watch Sabado Gigante! sometimes...it's a Spanish language variety show that is a hoot in any language.
