Tonight, chocolate cake

Here's been my day:

7:30 a.m. alarm goes off. I get up and start working on bills.

8:30 a.m. get dressed and do a little bit more packing.

9 a.m. leave house to run errands. (Post office, coffee shop, bookstore and grocery store)

10 a.m. arrive at office. Have my donut and coffee and spend some time reading before my clients.

11 a.m. client hour.

12 p.m. heat up left-overs and read until next client.

1 p.m. client hour.

2 p.m. leave office and head home

2:30 p.m. remember that I need to refill a prescription. Sit on phone for 15 minutes waiting to speak to the pharmacy.

3 p.m. B arrives. We pack up both our cars.

3:50 p.m. on the road to the new place. Unpack cars and spend some time unpacking boxes.

5:30 p.m. go to pick up some chinese for dinner and a piece of chocolate cake.

6 p.m. eat and read.

6:30 p.m. start laundry, finish dishes.

7 p.m. go to pick up prescriptions. Am told that they will not be ready until much later. Sit and wait at drugstore. See someone I know...chat a bit. Pay for prescriptions.

7:45 p.m. Finish packing kitchen. Pack random stuff in bedroom. Go through file cabinet.

8:45 p.m. get laundry. Fold and pack.

9:05 p.m. shower.

9:20 p.m. start blogging.

Now...go eat chocolate cake, then go to bed (have strange dreams because I ate chocolate cake before bed?).

I get up to do it all again tomorrow. Not a very restful weekend, but the upside is that I'm not feeling depressed. Anyway, even though I'm not commenting...I have been thinking about you guys (mostly about how good it would be to have your help moving...but still I'm thinking about you!).

Have a good Sunday all. I probably won't be able to say hello again until Monday.

I would help you move if I could get some chocolate cake. Not worried about comments, just glad to know you're feeling a little better.

I would marshal together a team to do the work for us while we sat and ate chocolate cake if I were there. Then we'd end up with belly aches and odd dreams, so perhaps best that I don't help after all? Best of luck with the move! I know it's difficult, but you're getting so much accomplished. Go Spins! :0)

The Cake sounds great. I've had to give up sugar. after the holidays I went nuts. Since I am addicted to sugar, I have to abstain all together or I can't stop.

Yes, the cake does sound great. If you're busy, that's less time to be depressed. Hope you're having a great Sunday.

Oof! I feel tired for you! Good job getting all of this done. Enjoy the cake and hope it did not bring bad dream. Let me know if you need more help, I could come up next week-end, we can stay at a hotel and soak in a hot tub after we do lots of packing and moving!

Hello Spin

I'm sort of back, though posting and commenting will still be in short supply for a bit. Thanks for asking after me - it's much appreciated - and sorry it's taken me some time to reappear.

Hope your move goes well. I'd help lug boxes around if I was a bit nearer...

sounds like a nice day to me (except for the packing, perhaps)
