In other news, I went out for a lovely dinner with Hippy Chick last night. Not only did we get to talk lots of social work trash, I went over to her place afterwards and I got a full bag of free clothes from her that she was going to give away. I am such a clothes-whore. But I'm a cheap clothes-whore, so I was in heaven with this.
It was wonderful to spend time with her and talk about work and career and just all sorts of stuff. I love talking about stuff.
Today is my last day at work for the week. Next week my co-worker is back. She can never leave me alone again!
P.S. My letter to Jaime O'Neill from last week got printed with other responses to the piece. It's here under the title "So much for stereotypes." Yay me!

In regards to kids, it's not only overweight kids, it's short kids, uncoordinated kids, tall girls, pimples, glasses, braces, and any other thing on God's green earth they can think of. I was just about to post on that subject myself, as soon as I recover from my vacation. See ya.
