I'm tired this morning...and partly it's my fault. It was probably going to be a bad allergy morning anyway, but yesterday I finished ripping all my CDs onto my computer (those CDs which had been lounging on the rack accumulating dust for ages), and in the midst of that stirred up the dust. Whenever my sinuses are unhappy, my eyes just naturally want to be shut.
I had a good weekend. After seeing clients on Saturday, I took BART to Daly City and SS picked me up. We went to see the Altered Barbie gallery showing. It was really fun to see the way that people played with Barbie, and it left SS and I wondering how we might make our own altered barbies.
We went over to the zoo, but got there just as it was about to close. So we spent a little time in the gift shop fondling the stuffed animals. The very large stuffed giraffe wanted to come home with me, but it was very expensive and too large to fit under our jackets. Sorry!
We had dinner at Barbara's Fish Shack, which has nummy clam chowder and heavily friend food. My stomach, now understanding that there's really nothing wrong with it, handled it fine (well, for a about an hour or so until it got all gassy and uncomfortable).
When I got home, I went online to check on my e-bay auctions I had opened and packaged up some of the clothes that sold.
Sunday was spent ripping the aforementioned CDs to my computer and posting many of them on Amazon (5 have already sold...woo-hoo!). I did some laundry, then went to my Elements of Magic class last night. I had a really good conversation with the doctor who's taking the class and he's pointed me in some good directions with regards to IBS.
I came home and finished reading another trashy novel. The heroine in it was tall, but not big. Still it was refreshingly different in many ways - especially because I'd expected it to be frustrating. I kind of skirted over the end, but the rest of the novel was really fun (for those who might care, it was Your Scandalous Ways by Loretta Chase.
I'm back at work this morning and feeling good about the day, despite my sinus congestion.
