I've never been very big on Earth Day. I guess I don't know why we have just one day to celebrate the earth that we live on. Without it we would not exist. It is the makings of our very bodies.
I guess, though, that I can use Earth Day to announce that I am the brand new mother of a crop of mixed salad greens. I noticed last night that they had started sprouting. Yay! Unfortunately, I think I may be killing the basil I planted. The tomato, however, is growing like mad.
