"Slow it down for a minute, c'mon stop and wonder"

First...My therapist: He's very good. I hate him. Enough said.

And now on to the really important stuff:

I leave for San Diego today! I'll only be there for a few days, but I really need time away from this place. I will have just seen my last clients at the counseling center and this will be a nice transition for me. Total tourist, here I come!

Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to share with you all what's coming with me to San Diego:

flip flops, sandals, and tennis shoes
1 pair of jeans
2 pair of pedal-pusher pants (don't know what else to call them)
1 pair of shorts
1 very cool spanish-y looking black top
2 t-shirts
1 tank top
1 no sleeve top
1 long sleeve linen top
1 very cute sun dress
pajamas
assorted underclothes
assorted toiletries
2 types of sunscreen
tarot cards
journal
romance novel
V is for Vendetta
Bitch Magazine
City Smart San Diego
Money, keys, etc.
digital camera

Okay, that may not have been very interesting to you, but it helped me organize my brain around what all I needed to pack.

So my friends in blogland...I will be back online on Wednesday. Have a good time 'til then.

Have fun in San Diego.

And look after your back and shoulders - that is a lot of stuff to carry around with you. I'm a complete slob and travel with about a fifth of the clothes you're taking. And only one lot of sunscreen.

Pleased to see you're taking a digital camera, though...

I'm eager to hear about how you liked San Diego ... we'll be there for about 36 hours in October, and would love suggestions on what to do! Glad you're getting a good break for this transitional time!
