"The ants go marching one by one, hurrah! hurrah!"

Right through my living room. It happens at least once a year when we get a really good rain. And the last couple of days have seen some really good rains.

B and I watched movies last night and toasted the New Year with Martinelli's. We paused the movie to listen to all the fire cracker's and guns being shot off.

I took B home this afternoon and went for a tarot reading. It was a year reading...sort of about what would be going on for me internally in the coming year. It seems to be quite a growthful year...the last card I drew said that I was moving into a new phase of my life filled with joy and ecstasy. Yay! Could use a little joy and ecstasy in my life.

I did another reading tonight just outlining what would be "themes" for each of the coming months. I thought about posting it, but decided not.

I took a nap this afternoon and have spent the evening watching Fingersmith. (AG - are you familiar with Sarah Waters' books? I think you'd like them, if you haven't read them. Actually, I think that most people would, but they haven't gained widespread popularity in the U.S. because the "romance" of these very gothic books are all lesbian.) The movie, like the book, is very dark. It's actually a two-part made-for-BBC movie.

I don't have any firm plans for tomorrow. I couldn't be more pleased.
