So the cleaning is done. The inspection of the premises is done. I spent 11 hours, this weekend alone, cleaning, so I damn well better be getting that deposit back.
I've had the apartment to myself this weekend, but haven't been able to enjoy it because I've been out of it so much. When I do come home, I just want to shower, eat and crash. Tonight, I'm going to do some cooking for the first time and get some laundry done. I'm so looking forward to just a quiet night that doesn't include scrubbing anything (well, except the dishes).
It seems so strange...I feel like I don't have much to talk about, but this huge change has just happened.
Oh! Here's something: So I finally have heard Hard Fi and the Editors (I figured you Brit music-y types would like to know). They've been "discovered" by our station here. Hard Fi is going to be playing a couple of shows in the area this week. They've also been playing an Aussie band called Wolf Mother that's pretty good...and there was another band out of Quebec with "wolf" in the name that I'm going to have to look into (the song they played seemed to have a lot of native influence...very cool).

Congratulations on the complete and survival of cleaning the old apartment! It was exhausting, but now it's done. Enjoy the time you have left to relax and enjoy. :0)
