"Our lips are sealed"

Secrets. My family is notorious for them. I didn't feel that I could write about this yesterday because my mother told me in confidence, but now she's shared it with my dad. The real reason that I'm so worried about my father is that his doctor thinks he needs to have a CT scan to investigate some suspicious airpockets on his Xray in his left lung. They are now concerned that he may have another tumor growing there.

I haven't been sleeping well.

But really the meds are still working well. I've felt anxious for him and had strange dreams...and before she told my dad, I was really worried for my mom (stress exacerbates her heart problems)...but no return of the depression. Anyway, there it is. Won't know anything for awhile, but I'll keep you all posted.

It is still absolutely gorgeous outside...if the weather holds, I am going to go find a nice place in the park and read this weekend.

I know exactly how you're feeling right now. The only thing I can say is that worrying about it does not make your Dad any healthier. Try to be strong if you can. My heart is with you.

Hello Spin, really sorry to hear about your parents' health problems. I can imagine how worried you must be. I'll be thinking of you.

ps the park is a good idea. It's been almost springy for a couple of days here and I've been out looking at the trees and stuff, although it's gone a bit grey and chilly again now.

On an unrelated note, you are invited to drop in anytime you may be near us, or London.

Spinny, you're the greatest. Even better than individual pudding cups. The caramel/chocolate combination. And those are really great.
