It never rains, but it pours.

Lot's to talk about in therapy today...nothing I'm quite ready to share here today, though. I've had quite enough disclosure for one day, thanks!

Although, I will share that I talked a bit about this pageant tonight and how it's causing turmoil...I'm just going to work on focusing on the fun of having people over and rooting for Noelle. I'll be sure to let you know the outcome!

So I'm going to start on a project today that I've thought of doing before: cataloging my music for you all. It really won't be too overwhelming because I'm going to break it down into alphabetical order. I thought of starting at the end, but then realized that I don't have anything that begins with Z, so it felt a bit anti-climactic. So A it is. Here we go:

Antics in the Forbidden Zone, Adam Ant - I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I was dj-ing for a radio station and they were playing whole albums. I wanted to play Adam Ant so badly and the only album I could find was Dirk Wears White Socks, which I know the least.

Little Earthquakes, Tori Amos - She got me through what I now realize was my first major depression.

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, Arctic Monkeys - the newest "a"ddition.

Acoustic Soul, by India Arie - I love her voice!

Audioslave, by Audioslave - this is the one in my "A"s that I've played the least. I'm probably pretty familiar with some of it because I have played it, but I got it through one of those CD clubs - I forgot to send back the card.

So here's your opportunity to jump in, what do you think I'm missing in the A category...any must-haves I should put on my list to check out?

Let's all keep our fingers crossed for tonight.

Good choice in music

Have you heard the Breakfast on Pluto soundtrack?

I think you would like the movie.

We listen to totally different music. But you've given me a lot of inspiration to go browse iTunes!

AC/DC of course! :)

I can only think of Aerosmith (I do like them!) and Joan Armatrading. They certainly don't have anything in common!

It would seem I couldn't have come back at a better time, eh?

A-ha - Terribly underated clever pop music. New album Analogue sounds pretty good though I've only given it a couple of plays. 2nd album "Scroundrel days" has some excellent songs on it.

ABC - The lexicon of love may be a 24 year old album but it is a genuine classic. Lush, heartfelt pop music that will tug at your very soul while forcing your toes into a tapping frenzy!

Ash - Wonderfully rocking pop tunes. Their greatest hits album, "Intergalactic sonic 7's" would be a great place to start. "Envy" is quite possibly one of the greatest tunes ever.

You've already covered Adam Ant & Arctic Monkeys which would also be on my A list.

And, of course, there's Abba.
And you can't knock Abba, eh?

Doesn't London seem like a long time ago already?
