Random Post #441

It's an absolutely beautiful day out today. Too bad I'm spending most of it indoors. But the little I did get out (to and from my consultation group & a quick walk to the mailbox) it was all sunshine, blue skies, and blooming spring flowers.

I went to therapy yesterday, instead of on Friday, and spent the entire session about my anger at Sister. And on discussing how it's displaced anger towards my mother because she can't be angry with Sister for disappointing her...and how generally pissed off I am that I can't say anything about this to Sister because I'm a wimp. And when I drove away I was angry at my therapist because he didn't make my anger go away. Gee, could I be PMSing? It's a good thing that the pedestrians were spry yesterday...

I decided to Google my therapist today - how ironic that I've chosen a nationally known therapist in Men's Health Issues to be my therapist.

I somehow I have collected a rather large collection of small stuffed animals. Someday, I'll have to take pictures - and of my Barbie's. Is it strange that I have such toys? I don't play with them, but they are sometimes on display.

I am going to dinner with Physicist (I housesit for her sometimes during the summer at Hill House). We're having Mexican and I think I will have a margarita.

Tomorrow, I have lunch with SlowTalker. Then Friday a.m., I'm spending hanging out with TwinMan. And today, going through old "sent" e-mails, I came across DateBoy's e-mail address...He was a guy I was really excited about last June. I decided I would send off an e-mail and invite him to one of the concerts that I have a ticket for. I'm not really interested in pursuing anything with him (because he just flaked out too often for my taste), but it would be nice to have someone to go to the Streets with. He might fear that I've become a stalker and ignore my e-mail. We'll see.

I forgot to mention that CollegeFriend sent me some pictures this week. The amazing thing about this is that he e-mailed me on Monday to let me know that he'd popped them in the post, and I went home at lunch on Monday to find them on my door step. When I checked the postmark it was for Friday. Can you imagine - airmail from London to here over the weekend?! It's practically unheard of.

End of random post for now.

yup, sounds like pms to me, however you have very legitimate reasons to be pissed off at your sis and frustrated w/your mom. ...and for the record i don't think saying you're a wimp is the whole picture - i mean it's a big emotional investment to call your sis on something when you're not close and she's treated you like crap too - it's a matter of how much it's worth and i can certainly understand your resistance! so don't be so hard on yourself amiga... and btw stuffed animals rock, even in our 30's :)

It's a good thing that the pedestrians were spry yesterday... This made me laugh!

Enjoy those dates. ;0)

As far as Barbies and stuffed animals go, I have to say that when I saw Steve Carell's apartment in the 40 year old virgin, I LOVED IT. (except for the framed Asia poster) oh well. Lets see a picture of the collection.

Hyde - it was a picture of the Sphinx on the Thames...and pic of me in front of the British Museum, and there was another one, but I don't remember what it was right now. Nothing racy.
