I went for coffee this morning and that song was on the radio. The Time evokes these memories for me of the early '80s in Minnesota. I can envision the bad hair and the wide shouldered jackets. Oh, it was a bad time for clothes, but a good time for dance music - at least in Minneapolis.
My blog has been rather spotty lately - for good reason, obviously - and I'm finding it a little difficult to get back into the groove. I think that a lot of it has to do with not having regular access to a computer. They have computers at Hill House, but mostly they have left with their owners. The only desktop is The Physicist's. I once asked her to use it, but she explained that she does have some work stuff on it and her work place is very serious about their security. So, yeah, not touching that one.
But it also sort of feels like this blogging business has a particular flow to it. It is somewhat easier if you do it everyday and not worry too much about the content. When my flow gets broken, I start to worry about writing something catchy or important. Anyway, in an attempt to get a bit back into the flow...I'm doing this lovely stream of conciousness post.
I finally get to have social plans after over a week of illness and recovery. I'm still not 100%, but I don't have a blazing headache today for the first time in about 3 days. And my energy is actually close to normal. Still, I plan to take a nap this afternoon in anticipation of an evening of music and dancing. SlowTalker often likes to keep our plans a bit under wraps until we get there, so I'll fill you in later.
Okay, then. I have an apartment to tidy. You all have a lovely Saturday!

You worry about the flow and what to write, but whatever you share is always good enough for us. No worries there, Spins! I'm relieved that you're beginning to feel a little better. Functioning with that headache must have been hellish. I hope you had a great night with SlowTalker. :0)
