In Retrospect...

Hyde has been known to do this, and I've often thought about doing it but never actually have...

A year ago today - I was pretty damned depressed. I'd been to a party at HippyChick's at which I'd indulged in my first ever bong hit, and I got really drunk. Despite the party experience, I was very depressed.

6 months ago today - I was on a plane flying back from London. Wow! London was really an incredible turning point for me for a lot of reasons.

Today...I don't want to go to work and I'm procrastinating getting ready to go. But now it's very late and I gotta run around like a madwoman to make it to work on time.

Addendum: I just read the silliest thing: Senator McCain just criticized former president Clinton's policy on N. Korea...saying that it was at the root of the problem they are now facing with N. Korea. I don't know about you, but I'd think that if you didn't like the foreign policy someone had instituted 6 years ago when you took office, then you should make it a priority to do something to change it. Really...are they 12 year olds in DC?!

At least when the Clintons were in office they had open communication with North Korea. Bush has gone out of his way to destroy diplomatic ties and to ignore the problem because it was inconvenient, what with his Iraq agenda and all. I saw this coming years ago, and if I could see it than surely others must have. Discouraging that the administration couldn't.

Right.
