Well...

Today is one of those days that I don't really have much of substance to write about. I updated my blogroll yesterday. There's a blog I added that I find interesting called Big Fat Blog. It gives a different side of the story for all of the "obesity epidemic" stuff that's increasing in the news.

I did do something yesterday which I highly recommend...I registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond for gifts for this holiday season. I also posted a wishlist at Target. I figured that this is just an easier way for my family to see what I want and get it for me. It was fun browsing around and picking things. It's not huge, obviously I don't need a ton of stuff, but I did pick out some things I think people wouldn't imagine I would like as a gift: like a 3 day disaster kit (I do live in California).

Well, kids, that's all for today.

Registering was a good idea. I hope you get the things you want! :0)

a 3 day disaster kit? What's that - a kit to help you create a disaster in under 72 hours?

cool.

HaHa good one LB. But seriously, living in Ca, it's definitely a good idea. (Says the woman who never owned one) I do always have a 5 gallon of drinking water stored away though, and flashlight and batteries to spare. The radio would be the biggest chanllenge for me, and we live close to a nuclear power plant! (Nucular as the idiot in white house would say!)

Are there any lifelong disaster kits?, I might be able to use one.
