Dreamtime

I think I experienced a first last night for my dreams...it is the first time I remember referencing a previous night's dream events in my current dreams. It was a bit strange to realize that this morning. I remember nothing else about the dream, except for the reference.

The original dream had been one about spiders...very large, very yellow spiders that appeared to live everywhere. I was with someone who felt comfortable picking them up and told me that you just need to be bitten in order to feel connected to them. So they had the spider bite me on the top of the head, and I bled and definitely didn't feel connected to the spider. The whole thing kind of creeped me out. I think the worst was that the spiders were so large and brightly colored.

Last night, all I remember is being in a corridor or in some place where there were these green tarantula-type spiders. They were on a bush and it seemed to me that they were contained in some way. I said to my companions (I don't remember who they were), "Oh, that reminds me of the dream I had about the spiders." And that was that.

Pretty trippy, eh?

S called last night. He got to the place where he will be taking the dance workshop. He was somewhat disappointed that Massachusetts is snow-less right now. It was lovely to talk to him, but this a.m. I find myself missing him and missing the opportunity to sleep next to him.

I haven't had a dream like that since I stopped doing mushrooms back in the early 90's. Sounds like an episode of Fear Factor.

I don't envy your spider dreams. :0(

I sometimes have drunk dreams which build on each other, picking up from where the last one left off with my troubles progressing. It's odd, like a dream alter-ego living out the life I might have led if I didn't get sober. Helps "keep it green" for me though, so I don't mind.

I don't know if we'll get snow before S returns to California, but there's a chance of flurries next week I hear. Maybe he'll luck out! It's supposed to get up into the 60's this weekend! He chose a weird year to look for snow in New England, poor man.
