It's so nice to get angry sometimes. Unfortunately, the only thing that I have to get angry about with this situation is a tick (that's probably dead already). But I've been pretty good at globalizing my anger at all ticks.
Yesterday, I went online to and googled "tick" "ecology." I want to find out what possible part these ugly beasties play in the balance of life. If anyone has a good idea and wants to share it, I'd be happy to hear.
I'm just icked out by them, so I'm not about to go searching them out and trying to eradicate them personally. But I do wonder if we could somehow rid the world of them and have there be no adverse impact.

I must say that from my understanding of the environment, their only purpose would be to communicate diseases aimed at reducing the population of deer and other animals, but I could be wrong. I should ask the Kid, she probably would know.
I feel the same way about mosquitoes.
