I feel a bit like I'm Miss Gloom and Doom these days. My latest casualty...I was at S' house on Tuesday night getting my stuff together to take home and I cut myself on something in the carpet. So today I went in for a tetanus shot. Joy!
As for real joy, S came home last night. SS picked him up from the airport and I met them at his house. It was so good to see him. We slept together last night, which meant I probably didn't sleep quite as well as I could have, but it was still good to be able to touch him and know that he was there.
Today, after work, I'm going to the library to pick-up a book or two on Lyme. It's frustrating because I don't seem to be falling into the typical first stage symptoms just in terms of the length of time the flu like symptoms are lingering.

girlfriend, you have every right to be doom and gloom. it sucks to have lyme and be tired and feverish for weeks. and then having to get a shot on top if it all REALLY sucks. glad S made it back, i know he will help you feel better :)sending you big oxox!
But you may not be in the first stages. You can actually have had it for months before the symptoms show up...
Aravis is right, not to freak you out more. Since you did not find a culprit tick per se, it could have been a while ago. I hope treatment brings results soon. I can't imagine how frustrated you feel! And tetanus shot too, you need a few weeks with no misfortune, and I hope with all my heart that they come to you. Cyber hug to you.
I'm sorry, I hope that it starts to go away quickly. Feel better soon.
