Crazy Day

I hit the ground running today at work. I had to spend a goodly portion of the day so far trying to explain M'Care Pt D to a patient. Can someone explain it to me? It just makes no sense and makes me angry.

I'm looking for a different job. Not very aggressively at this point, but I'm keeping my eyes open. I'm going to apply for openings for a counselor position at 2 of the local community colleges. The jobs sound perfect - counseling students around educational plans, career, and personal issues; doing some teaching; flexible hours; summers and school holidays off. What a lovely opportunity it all sounds like.

Not much more to tell today. I'm feeling tired, but that's because I had to take 2 tablets of the Coricidin last night in order to breathe and it leaves me dehydrated and tired. Yes, I have an antihistamine hangover. How pleasant. I'm on day 9 so this should be over in the next couple of days.

Okay, We are off in a couple hours for a birthday lunch. I'm looking forward to good Chinese food.

I know I keep saying this, but I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, Cody. So do I. S has a theory that having this cold has helped (and really I do seem to be having fewer fevers in the evenings). The idea is that the cold has re-activated my immune systemy.

Glad your immune system is rebooting.

It would be great if you were hired in a setting like that. Good luck!
