Purim

Happy Purim everyone!

I'm in a much better mood. Yesterday, I got a bunch of stuff done and it was sort of my Friday at the dialysis center, so that was good.

Last night, I went to a Purim celebration where S was playing the part of the bad guy in the spiel (play). It was a lot of fun to boo and hiss at him. Although, in the play he transforms from straightlaced prime minister to bad-boy former rocker, and so by the end he had his hair down around his shoulders and was wearing his black jeans and a black t-shirt. I'm not sure that I was supposed to be turned on by the bad guy, but I was.

SS was there and we got to say hi and chat a little bit, although it was too loud to do much talking. She left right afer the play got done because she worked early this morning. I, happily, got to stay for some of the dancing, although I tired out pretty quick as it had been a really long day. Next year, though, I'm going to dress up in a fun costume, I think.

It was also the first day of Spring yesterday and the full moon that signals Ostara. I wonder if all that is contributing to my good mood. I've always liked Spring.

I am doing a presentation today on working with large women using the concepts of Health at Every Size. I'm really looking forward to that, and a bit nervous at the same time. I'll be spending the afternoon prepping.

I have no idea what we are doing this weekend. I imagine that some of it will include practicing our fight.
