It's telling to me how chaotic my personal life feels that I have a feeling of relief in being at work today. This has almost never been the case, so it's a bit bizarre. I may feel differently when I actually have to start interacting with people.
I really do love my new computer. I'm left with a conundrum, however. My old computer, dinosaur that it is, has all these lovely files that I would like to keep. But it doesn't have compatibililty with the external hardrive that I got. And the new computer does not accept diskettes. So I have a lot of things (which I don't want to e-mail or load up on flickr) that I'm not sure how to transfer.
Still, my new computer - Penelope - she is very fast and strong. I like her lots and lots. I spend most of my time with her on my lap when I am at home. I got to download and watch 2 of this season's Bones episodes last night. It took me a little while to figure out how Bittorrent worked, but once I did it was great. Yay!
Here's something to cheer you up - go over to the sidebar and visit "Adventures of..." The first video on that site is of toddler Nate doing the "pigeon dance!" Very fun!

Have you tried using a small flash drive to store those files instead?
And have you caught up with Bones yet? I was finally able to watch the season finale tonight. Great twist at the end, but I won't say anything more in case you haven't seen it yet.
