Coming back from lunch, I realized I needed some positive things to focus on.
So here's my list of things I love:
1. Family and friends - in many different ways and sometimes (for family) with gritted teeth.
2. Dogs - I think I was a dog in a former life. I completely lose focus of everything else when in the vicinity of a dog.
3. Minnesota - as much as I don't think I can ever live there again, there is something about the land and the water and the history. It's my homeland.
4. Chocolate - maybe I was a cocao bean in a former life, too.
5. Sunny days with a light breeze with nothing to do.
6. The ocean, rivers, lakes, waterfalls - hell, even my shower. I love water.
7. Romance novels - they are brain candy/women's porn...what can I say?
8. Doing therapy - sometimes it's a bit boring, but if you are paying attention and watching for ways to get in, it is so amazing how a person can open up and grow. It's an honor and a privilege.
9. Ritual - I love the drama and the attention to detail and the connections that can happen.
10. Scotland and most things associated with Scotland...yes, I even love the sound of bagpipes. I've been saved having an opinion on real haggis by virtue of being a vegetarian.
It's a list of 10, not a Top 10 list, just to clarify. There are many, many other things I love, obviously, but these seemed the first in my mind this afternoon.

I love Scotland too, its so peaceful and amazing scenery. What parts have you been too?
Minnesota to California? Just like 90210!
Charby - I have a fondness for Edinburgh, but I've traveled through the highlands and to Skye...
Hyde - MN to CA via Baltimore/DC. It is just like 90210, except with no money, less drama, and farther north.
I love what I've read of Scotland, and hope someday to travel there. I also share your love of dogs and water. Just don't try to mix the two unless you're prepared to get wet! *lol*
