"But I got a letter..."

My day started off on an up-note. I logged on to my e-mail to find that the Brit I dated in college (what shall I call him here...I have no brain space to think up a name tonight) sent me an e-mail response to the letter I sent off. How cool is that. There's a good chance we will be able to meet up when I'm in London. It's a bit bizarre because I'm not sure, after all this time, what we will talk about. But, hey, it's fun to reconnect with people.

About halfway through the day, I decided to call my doctor because since starting the meds I've been really restless at night (I sleep, but it's not sound), and today was all trembly. At first, I attributed it to anxiety, but in the afternoon, I realized that I wasn't feeling worried about anything and was still shaky. Anyway, I'm switching to dosing in the a.m., per her recommendation and I should continue for about 10 more days. If it's not better then, then we'll see. I hope it's better soon.

I have to admit that despite the trembly feeling and some anxiety initially this a.m., I'm feeling pretty good today. Although, I did sit and marvel tonight at the level of chaos that I've decided to bring into my life this month with this move. I have 3 weeks. On the upside, it will help January go that much faster.

ST threw down something of a gauntlet the other day about Aleycia & I showing our tattoos, then he would show his...well, I have shown them before, but not together. So here they are:

Your turn now, ST.

Cool ink. Have fun in England. I looked an old teacher/pal from high school last week and we both seem to be doing well. Alittle older, grayer, softer in the middle, but still moving along. Ta!

Great tattoos Spins! I hope the med adjustment takes care of the trembles. Otherwise I'm glad that you're feeling a little better. :0)

Nice work, Spins, I like it a lot. I need to get color in the next one I get. Lovely.

Your tattoos are awesome! I've been musing over a new one for some time now, but haven't taken the plunge. When are you going to England?

The one on the leg...the blue part is a dog and the red part is a snake. The image is take from a runestone in Sweden. The runes would have been written in the body of the dog. The writing in the center is a combination of runes, which means, roughly, "Freyja guide me."

That bottom one is beautiful. Well, they both are, but I'm particularly enchanted by the bottom one.

Are you going to have a blogger union when you go to London, Spin? Meet Lord B, ST, Flash, et al, for a pint?

Ka - That's hopefully the plan, although I haven't really contacted everyone about that yet. I think I might have one or two coming to play tourist with me for a day or two, and I'm going up to see the lovely Nottingham mid-week. I'm mostly just planning the housing aspect of the trip right now.

Hyde - I forgot to answer you before...I'm going at the beginning of April.

Love them! Can you tell us what they both mean to you? (I have a few myself.)
