It's raining this a.m. It's been raining all night long. I know this partly because I woke up at a ungodly hour this a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep. My brain was in anxiety mode. I'm not in the crazy-monkey-anxiety stage of PMS, but this is the first time I've had anxiety like this since the meds kicked in. I'm going to just assume that's it's a particularly rough hormonal month and ride it out.
I'm otherwise feeling pretty good. The self-esteem piece got a boost yesterday when I got several looks...I notice this happens most often when I have my hair down. I'm also just more aware of people, in general, right now because my libido seems to have kicked into high gear, as well. This is generally okay, but turned a little weird last night when, while watching a documentary, I turned to B and uttered the phrase, "Alexander Hamilton is HOT!" Well, he was! She seems to fancy Thomas Jefferson more.
I have a busy day planned, but it's all stuff that's for me and feels pretty good to be doing: laundry, grocery shopping, working on finishing my continuing ed units, cleaning. It's going to be a good day.
So here's a question: Where did our Alecya go? I miss her!

I wish my hair were as long as yours! :)
That's funny, because I had a similar thought about Hamilton last week. *G* Hope you're feeling better, less anxious, and that you accomplished everything you set out to do today. :0)
If you are talking about the American Statesman of the 1750's, then I would say that your hormones have definitelty gone awry.
