The weekend went too fast

And now I am back at work for another week. Blah! It's not really about the work so much as it is about getting up at 6:30 and having to sit at a desk for most of the day. Blah!

The weekend was beautiful. Saturday, I stopped by my favorite consignment store and got a few lovely items. Then I went home and cleaned and napped. That evening, S and I went to see The Bacchae. It was performed by CAL students, and was fabulous. I loved what they did with the chorus.

The next day, we practiced the beginning of our scene for our final for our class. Then we ran some errands, had lunch at a soul food/vegetarian/African restaurant. It was nummy, but very different. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering the Berkeley rose garden and the park across the street from it. They had just done gardening in the rose garden and it really bugged my sinuses. But the view there is beautiful and S and I were snuggling on a bench, so I was not about to move.

Last night, I made dinner, watched TV, read and went to bed.

Not much more to say....oh, except: for those who I sent the e-mail "picking your brains" I've sent in my workshop proposals and the one I referenced was chosen. So I'll be a presenter for the NAAFA conference coming up this July in LA! Yay!
